TraveLog : Savannah

Hello Vivacious Chic 💋

All set for Monday gal. I am still not over this weekend. We had a lovely Spring Theme Birthday Party. Decoration full of butterflies. Fell in Love with it and felt the touch of Spring just around the corner. Went out for shopping to get a feel of Floral prints. Finally watched Logan movie after long week wait. Did I tell you guys, I am a big fan of Marvels and Hugh Jackman.

This post is all dedicated to my trip ✈️ to Savannah. I am going to share what we did, where we stayed and some must places to see in this beautiful town. This trip was totally meant to relax, eat, roam and sleep. Once in a while everyone needs a break from regular life and this was my super break.🏖

Stay : Savannah Marriott Riverfront

Day 1

  1. Jones Street : Boasting prestigious city addresses, the wide, tree-lined Jones Street is a local favorite with original cobble stone streets and some of Savannah’s most exquisite homes.
** Pic Credit of Jones Street : Google Image
  2. River Street : My favorite in Savannah. Fun street filled with cute gift shops, restaurants, bar and galleries. We were here at night on Day 1, so mostly hopped bar and had few drinks.🍹🍺
** Must See are Savannah's Candy Kitchen, River Street Sweets, The Peanut Shop and Fabulous Finds Under $20

Day 2

  1. Old Fort Jackson : This fort is located next to Savannah River. There was this guy(can’t remember the name) who did full historical representation of Civil War. He was so into the character and very funny. Firing of muzzle loader and cannon was amazing (rare watch).💣
**100 year old cannons are still in working conditions and ammunition room is intact.
  2. Georgia State Rail Museum : This is a fascinating railroad round house. There are some restored cars , engines and others that are in the process of restoration. You can climb the restored cars. This museum was very interesting and great fun. 🚞🛰
  3. The Pirate House : This is a restaurant 🍝and a historic site. The Pirate’s House first opened as an inn during 1753 for seafarers, and fast became a rendezvous for blood-thirsty pirates and sailors from the Seven Seas. Total 15 different dining rooms are there with different charm.
**   She Crab Soup, Fried Green Tomato Stack and Best of all, Pirates' House Award Winning Pecan Fried Chicken

Day 3

  1. Tybee Island Lighthouse and Beach : Because of renovation, we could not go inside the lighthouse, But the view of Atlantic Ocean is amazing. 🏖The lighthouse homes an antiquities were well-preserved and taken care of as well as the grounds. The Tybee Island Beach is very wide, but nice. It’s nice and clean and there are swings to relax on.

Overall, Savannah did not disappoint us. We had beautiful time, some real good scenes and amazing food.

Hope you all had nice time reading about Savannah. Let me know if you gals got some queries about this place.

Until Then, Stay Healthy
